Why Ministry Centres?
Mandate and Purpose of SCA International Ministry Centres

Even in today's high-tech communications-savvy world, small, geographically isolated communities in the north can be cut-off from the desperately needed "high touch" ministry that urban society often takes for granted.

By God's grace and with His provision, SCA plans to build year-round Ministry Centres in every province and territory of Canada, primarily in remote regions, to minister to the needs of families and individuals. There, we will continue our ministries through summer camps, counseling, rehabilitation programs, marriage and family helps, retreats, discipleship and even after-school programs right in the communities.

Since the 1930's, our camps and ministry centres have demonstrated an increasing ability to successfully reach Canada's isolated people in greater numbers than ever before. We are seeing incredible results in first-time conversions, baptisms, discipleship, and then, new disciples becoming "fruit bearers" themselves.
