Eagle Bay Ministry Centre is operated year-round, with winterized facilities for approximately 85 people and 120 in the summer. The main lodge is winterized and accommodates approximately 35 people in private and dorm rooms. During the summer programs, this building houses non-counseling staff such as wranglers, program staff, cooks, maintenance workers and dining room staff on the upper level. The lounge is equipped with a piano, TV, VCR/DVD player and stereo. Also situated on the upper level is the main office, a nurse’s station and the main washroom facilities (accessible from outside). Renovated in the past 5 years, the lodge is comfortably furnished and popular with the many private retreat groups that visit Eagle Bay.
Complementing the lodge are two new private winterized “bunkies” equipped with a queen-size bed and bunk bed in each.
The lower level of the lodge houses a suite with private bath, additional washrooms, a dining room that seats 120 and a well-equipped kitchen. Our cabin facilities are located in two central buildings that are divided into 5 cabins each. One of these buildings is fully winterized and sleeps 52. An identical building is also available that is not winterized. Built-in bunk beds and carpeting provide a comfortable room for summer campers and retreat groups alike.
The Bork Chapel was dedicated to the Lord in honour of our founder, Curt Bork during our 40th Anniversary celebration. Renovations in 2005 include new vinyl windows, pine ceilings, new carpeting and upgraded insulation and wiring for four-season use.

A Craft and Games Building was renovated and winterized in 2002 and contains foosball, air hockey, table shuffleboard, ping pong and craft tables along with ample storage facilities for supplies. This building is well-used during winter camps as well as summer programs and has been used as a meeting room for groups as well.

Sporting facilities include a baseball diamond, beach volleyball, playground, 32’ climbing wall, above-ground pool, horsemanship riding ring and barn, covered archery and target shooting ranges and a bicycle course. Canoeing is also available. Summer campers enjoy daily evening campfires at our campfire area. A well-stocked Tuck shop selling candy, drinks, souvenirs, etc. is popular with the campers.
Canoeing is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. | Archery is available for people of all ages. |
