SCA International In partnership with Fellowship Bible Church, ONTARIO:
Fellowship Bible Church is part of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches. FBC is a young Church that was re-started (similar to a church plant). This re-start was a result of the vision of retired Pastor David Irwin who launched FBC in 2009. (Fellowship Bible Church was previously Faith Baptist Church). We are a smaller yet growing group of believers with a goal of reaching our community for Jesus Christ. Our congregation is made up of a variety of ages and our worship is committed to both truth and beauty as we enjoy a blend of both contemporary songs and traditional hymns.
SCA International sponsored Jonathan Killoran from September 2019 to September 2022. Over these years the church has grown to where two services were needed on any given Sunday. Jonathan, was later called to be the lead pastor of a much larger congregation in Chatham, ON. This immediately created the need of an associate pastor at Fellowship Bible Church which was accomplished by hiring Kai Johnson through SCA's Intern sponsorship program. Baden Central Church, Baden, Ontario, an extension of Fellowship Bible Church:
The growth of FBC further lead to an expansion. Nathan Kapteyn, who we are sponsoring since January 2023 relocated from Toronto to Baden, ON through the call of God to plant a church. This opportunity was God's timing and he willingly came. Nathan received training at Fellowship that led to the new church plant in Baden in January 2024. At the time this community had only one functioning church. God amazingly provide a historic church building in Baden built on 1894. It is considered a heritage landmark in the community. Due to covid the church close down. What a timely move of God for bringing Nathan to rebuild His church in Baden. We pray God's blessing on him and his team and Praise God for the increase of His church!
